CALENDAR OF EVENTS
• Job Applications for Loon Ranger Positions for Montana college student internships are accepted January 15 – March 15. Contact the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, 406-751-4580 (Actual time of employment – Mid May through end of nesting season in Mid July.)

• Spring Loon Survey Day - Saturday closest to May 15

• Summer Loon Survey Day - Third Saturday in July.

If you would like to volunteer for the Spring or Summer Loon Survey Days please contact the Seeley Lake Ranger Station at (406) 677-2233, the Murphy Lake Ranger Station at (406) 882-4451 or the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks at (406) 752-5501.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES to LEARN about LOONS

Seeley Lake Loon and Fish Festival – Presented by the Alpine Artisians of Seeley Lake, Montana, on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Weekend in May. Each year MLS has a booth at the Festival and takes part in the activities with loon walks, talks and children’s programs.
