		• Job Applications for Loon Ranger Positions for Montana college student internships are accepted January 15 – March 15. Contact the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, 406-751-4580 (Actual time of employment – Mid May through end of nesting season in Mid July.) • Spring Loon Survey Day - Saturday closest to May 15 • Summer Loon Survey Day - Third Saturday in July. OTHER OPPORTUNITIES to LEARN about LOONS Seeley Lake Loon and Fish Festival – Presented by the Alpine Artisians of Seeley Lake, Montana, on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Weekend in May. Each year MLS has a booth at the Festival and takes part in the activities with loon walks, talks and children’s programs.
